I Called the Witch Doctor | Alternative Fertility Treatment Options

Can you imagine the rollercoaster of emotions Molly and RJ must have experienced on their journey to baby #2? You might remember from Draper's birth story that he is the product of embryo adoption after years and years of unexplained infertility. They had one last embryo from Draper’s cohort and when that transfer ended in miscarriage, Molly and RJ were devastated.

The heartache, the uncertainty, the hope that seemed to be slipping away with each passing day. But then, a glimmer of hope appeared in the form of a "Witch Doctor" who saw something in Molly's eyes that others hadn't.

Over the years I've heard stories of Jim Hill, an iridologist in Milton, FL, who can supposedly know exactly what's wrong and cure any affliction by simply examining the eyes. Like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat, this mysterious figure prescribed a regimen of supplements and promised Molly that she would be pregnant within three months. Skepticism hung heavy in the air, but Molly took the supplements as instructed while pursuing other options. And then, like a miracle, with no other interventions or treatments, she found herself expecting a sweet baby girl precisely as predicted.

Their mini maternity session on a scorching June day captured the beauty of this new chapter in their lives. Draper, wild and free-spirited, provided plenty of entertainment while Molly glowed with the joy of impending motherhood.
