When I arrived for Dez’s first birthday session at his home in Milton, he was fast asleep in mom + dad’s bed. This is totally fine! Your babies don’t need to be photo-ready when I arrive. Focus on your self mama and let the baby nap as long as he wants. I can’t say I won’t be able to resist capturing all of the sweet details of a sleeping baby on a beautifully neutral background like this though.

It was super sweet watching Dez wake up in a total fog and turn into the sweetest, happiest baby ever. I shot through all of him waking up and mom + dad tag-teaming to get him ready for family pictures on the bed. This session is a great example of just how much we can capture in a really limited space.
